Piano Lessons
*Jennifer is currently taking a break from teaching private piano lessons*
I have been teaching the piano for over 35 years. Currently I am accepting online students. I use a few different piano pedagogical books, but my favorite is Piano Adventures by the Fabers. I always provide a free first lesson so that the student can get to know me and I them. It also helps me choose an appropriate set of books to use with the student. I also teach the chord method, helping students to read lead sheets with chord markings. All of my students receive theory instruction as I believe that this is important for all musicians.
Virtual Piano Lessons
Lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes long for students of all ages. Usually younger students choose a shorter lesson while older students choose a longer lesson.Â
I use the Zoom platform to teach.Â
Lessons are $50 per hour.
Practice, Practice, Practice!
I still practice the piano too! Playing the piano everyday is important in order to become the musician you want to be. Plus, it is fun! I am currently enjoying playing Greta Van Fleet's new songs as well as some of my 80's favorites :)
